Vidyadhara Privacy Policy
Vidyadhara is a native iPhone practice companion by Vajra Guru. This policy explains what data is kept on your device, what data is processed by the authentication service, and how you can request support or delete your account.
1. Data stored on your iPhone
- Practice entries, live counter state, reminders, sessions and app preferences are stored locally on your iPhone.
- Face ID unlock tokens and any local secure credentials are stored in the iPhone Keychain.
- Local backups are only created when you choose a backup destination in Files, iCloud Drive or another provider.
2. Data processed by the authentication service
- Account profile data: username, full name, alias, email address and optional phone number.
- Security data: password hash, email verification tokens, password reset tokens, session tokens and optional TOTP two-factor configuration.
- The authentication service does not store your practice history unless you explicitly export or back it up outside the app.
3. Notifications
Local practice notifications are scheduled on-device with Appleās notification system. They are not sent through a third-party push provider at this stage.
4. Backups
You control where backups are stored. They may be written to iCloud Drive, Files, or another file provider you select. Vidyadhara does not automatically upload your practice data to the authentication server.
5. Account deletion
You can delete your account directly inside the app from Settings > Account > Delete this account. For remote accounts this removes the server-side account and local workspace data on the device.
6. Support
For privacy or support questions contact support@vajraguru.app.
